Into every life there will be uncrossable rivers, steep mountains to climb, and days dark with dread.
Steve brings us hope from Jesus today, Matthew 11:28-30:
28 Come to me, all you are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
JESUS OFFERS TO HELP BEAR OUR BURDENS. He invites us to share the yoke with him; he will do the heavy pulling. This is reminiscent of a song we like to sing: God Will Make A Way. Steve and Herb come before you with their personal testimony, “That Jesus is enough.” The one that created all the heavenly beings and spoke this magnificent cosmos into place, peopled it with abundant life with his crowning creation, man and woman, can take care of us no matter what. Our God specializes in things thought impossible.
